Welcome to our expansive campus, designed to offer not just a memorable visit but a truly enriching experience. Spanning 20,000 square feet, our academic campus is thoughtfully structured to promote learning and innovation. It features four well-equipped classrooms, including two scientifically designed acoustic classrooms with modern teaching aids. Additionally, the campus houses a state-of-the-art seminar hall, an alumni room, a dedicated student activity space, two mini seminar rooms, a high-tech library, a specialized research wing, and two modern computer labs. To ensure seamless academic and administrative operations, the campus also includes dedicated offices for faculty and administration.

AGRIM is the annual cultural festival at Kadakia Educational Campus (KEC), launched in 2018. It was created with the aim of celebrating cultural diversity and fostering skills such as personality development, confidence building, communication, and etiquette. Cultural activities play a significant role in instilling these qualities in students.

The festival features a range of competitions, including solo and group dance, fusion dance, antakshari, treasure hunts, and fashion shows, making it the most anticipated event for students. It provides a platform for them to showcase their talents, boost their confidence, and enhance their overall development. Participating in such events can greatly benefit students, helping them shape successful careers.

Looking ahead, AGRIM plans to expand by inviting participants from other institutions and introducing new competitions, such as singing, mimicry, drama, mono-acting, and literary events like poetry recitations, creative writing, and debates. AGRIM’s core motto is that cultural activities bring out the creative potential in students.

Introduction

The Kadakia Educational Campus (KEC) Library is a hub for knowledge and learning, serving as a resource center for both students and faculty.

Located on the first floor, the library is well-stocked with over 14,590 books covering disciplines such as Management, Commerce, Science, and Computer Technology. Designed for comfort and convenience, it features proper ventilation, lighting, and fans, ensuring a pleasant study environment.

The Laboratories At KEC

Laboratory experiments play a crucial role in understanding the concepts of Chemistry and Microbiology. We provide well-maintained, fully equipped laboratories that meet the curriculum requirements set by Veer Narmad South Gujarat University (VNSGU).

All practical sessions are conducted under the supervision of faculty members and lab attendants to ensure accuracy and safety. Strict safety protocols are in place, with readily available security measures to maintain a hazard-free environment.

B.Sc. Chemistry Lab

The Chemistry Lab is divided into two sections:

Chemical Lab

Both labs are well-stocked with chemicals, glassware, and essential apparatus, ensuring students have access to all necessary resources. The lab-in-charge and attendants ensure that students follow systematic protocols.

The Physical Lab is equipped with sophisticated instruments such as:

The lab accommodates 25 students, who perform experiments in pairs, promoting teamwork and collaborative learning.

Chemical Lab

The Chemical Lab focuses on qualitative and quantitative analysis, volumetric titration, and organic preparation. Students conduct experiments individually, gaining hands-on experience. The lab can accommodate 35 students at a time. Students are carefully monitored and trained to handle chemicals responsibly, with a strong emphasis on safety measures.

B.Sc. Microbiology Lab

The Microbiology Lab (Micro Lab) at KEC provides students with hands-on learning experiences in microbiology, a field that explores microorganisms such as bacteria, viruses, fungi, and protozoa.

Strict safety protocols are followed to prevent exposure to harmful microorganisms.
Students are trained in proper laboratory techniques to handle specimens safely.
Qualified laboratory instructors provide guidance and supervision during lab sessions.

The lab also contains essential glassware, such as pipettes, beakers, conical flasks, and test tubes. It accommodates 30 students, ensuring a comfortable and effective learning environment.

Students record and analyze experimental data using scientific methods and laboratory notebooks. Key experiments focus on:

Bacterial, viral, and fungal analysis
Blood, soil, food, and water testing
Sterility testing

Through structured experimentation and discovery, students develop critical thinking skills

Our state-of-the-art laboratories provide students with practical exposure and a scientific learning environment, preparing them for advanced research and industry challenges.

Computer Labs at KEC

Computers are an integral part of modern education, and students today eagerly embrace the latest advancements in technology. At Kadakia Educational Campus (KEC), we provide state-of- the-art computing facilities to support learning and research.

KEC has two spacious and well-equipped computer labs with the latest configuration systems. The labs are fully stocked with all the necessary software as per the university syllabus, ensuring students have access to the tools they need for academic success.

Students perform lab work under the guidance of experienced faculty and technical assistants. The labs are also equipped with multimedia resources, high-speed internet, and projectors, enabling students to explore online educational materials and enhance their learning experience.

Currently, the campus has 112 computers with 1.5 configuration, and an additional 30 i7 computers are in the pipeline for procurement.

The computer labs are open from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Saturday, providing students ample time to access academic resources and complete their coursework.

Rasrang Club

Rasrang is our cultural club. The main focus of the club is to organize fun co- curricular and extra-curricular activities throughout the year to motivate the students. The activities include socio-cultural events that act as stress busters for the students and faculty members. The faculty committee members plan a calendar of events and ensure their smooth conduct by guiding the student coordinators to plan and execute the activity or event. Some of the highlights of the club are Annual Day Celebration, Cultural Fest, Festival Celebrations, Teacher’s Day, Library Week, Women’s Day and competitive events.

Aavishkar Club

The club for inventions, Aavishkar Club encourages participation, information sharing, creating new ideas and competitive spirit under a single umbrella. It provides the students with a platform to grow, nurture and explore opportunities in the field of technology. The sole aim of the club is to keep the students updated on the latest technical trends and help them stay technically advanced. Students in Aavishkar club get to participate and compete in National and International competitions.

Sports Club

It is extremely important to embrace sports along with academics, as sports bring in the spirit of leadership, teamwork and delegation; this is what drives TLSU’s Sports Club. Be it the Annual Sports Week or the daily distressing sporting activities, all students and faculty alike participate wholeheartedly and reinforce the five S’s of sports training: stamina, speed, strength, skill, and spirit.
