Shri Manilal Harilal Kadakia Charitable Trust was founded by late Shri Manilal Kadakia the chairman who was the patriarch of Kadakia family born in the year 1914in the erstwhile princely state of devgarhbaria. A freedom fighter and registers with charitable commissioner of great Bombay in the year 1973. He was a recipient of the freedom fighter award from the Maharashtra government in recognition of his participation in the freedom struggle. He rose from a modest beginning in life to become a leading industrialist in Gujarat and Maharashtra. His love for education is even today the driving force behind the trust and its entire institute. As a freedom fighter he strongly believed that a strong nation can be build with a sound and educated society for which providing education to young generation in the rural areas is a must. Ones he came across with an adivasi student of his area who was In search of boarding at Devgadhbaria for his education, as there was no hostel in devgarhbaria for the students of surrounding villages, he established Smt. Kusumben Chatralaya at Devgadhbaria. Our trust embarked upon an Management institute from June- July 2009. A post graduate course Shri M. H. Kadakia Institute of Management and Computer Studies affiliated to GTU Ahmedabad approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) to fulfill the objective of all around individual growth in accordance with the expansion of global view of highly valued institute emphasizes the goal to excel intellectual excellent future career prospect through quality education. Our MBA Institute is raising the bars. As in, its very first batch result. We stood 3rd in whole GTU from more than 200 institutes and 1st rank in South Gujarat Zone in the year 2011. As history repeats itself, results of our 2014 batch stood at 3rd position in GTU ranking. As our most of the students are with rural background but we are able to maintain quality of students who are able to sustain in market.
